An extended version of P225/0x0/011; this
housing enables three photodetector devices to view a single output port of
a microscope. It couples onto either the Cairn Rectangular Diaphragm, or C-mount
input adapter. As with the single emission coupling the input is infinity
corrected, and each output forms an image at unity magnification. The outputs
are arranged with Typically the box would be set up with two photomultipliers
at 90 degrees to a camera.
The connector box requires two dichroic mirrors or beamsplitters to be fitted
to activate the side ports, which are normally supplied fitted to interchangeable
mirror holders. The use of dichroic mirrors allows different wavelengths of
light to be sent to each of the three optical ports. Alternatively the mirors
can be fitted to rotatable mounts at either or both mirror positions. This
allows the mirrors to be swung completely out of the optical path, allowing
all the light to be transmitted to the straight through port, and gives increased
flexibility on set-ups which are used in a number of configurations.
If connection of further devices is required we can couple combinations of
this and the single emission connector to
achieve almost any configuration required.
