Our model cell contains a range of resistors and resistor-capacitor combinations for verifying the correct operation of the Optopatch and for exploring the operation of its resistance and capacitance measurement facilities. Use of a model cell is all but essential when setting up a patch clamp, and this one is optimised for use with ours.
