12.5mm Balanced Band-Pass Interference Filters
These 12.5 mm diameter interference filters are available at centre wavelengths from 340 to 600nm at 10nm intervals, with bandwidths of approximately 10nm (other bandwidths to order), and are used for fluorescence excitation in our rotary filter changers. They are precisely balanced, and should be denoted BC for our original belt driven wheel or BS for our new direct drive spinning and fast stepping wheel. The complete part number is thus P855/xxx/012, where xxx is the centre wavelength. e.g. a 380nm filter (Fura long excitation) for use in the original rotor has a part number P855/380/012.
