These are supplied in 12.5mm mounting rings as standard, and are often preinstalled in our emission filter holders.
Gelatin long-pass and broad narrow band-pass filters are cheap and effective. Care should be taken if using them for high resolution fluorescence imaging (where any imperfections may degrade image quality), or at any point in the light path where there are high energy levels. In most photomultiplier detection systems there are no drawbacks to using low cost gelatin filters.
