We have been busy working with a number of software providers to ensure that our products are fully supported. The following list gives a summary of these companies and our involvement with them:

Andor Biosystems - Support for the Optoscan monochromator and Optosplit image splitter has been included in Andor IQ since its launch and the Optoscan driver has recently been enhanced for use in high speed applications. The OptoLED is also supported using Andor's flexible BoB digital interface and all of these products have just been included in Andor's inaugural global catalogue.

QED Imaging - QED have recently implemented dedicated support for our Optoscan, Optosource and OptoLED ranges. Generic image splitter support is also provided and we anticipate working closely with QED to ensure compatibility with new products such as the PAM and TIRF systems.

Compix - Simple PCI now supports our Optoscan monochromator along with having generic image splitter support and a digital interface suitable for the OptoLED.

MDC Meta-Imaging series - Universal Imaging have supported our products for many years, but have recently updated their Optoscan monochromator drivers to ensure full compatibility with our USB interface and alternative diffraction gratings. Generic image splitter drivers and a digital interface (suitable for the OptoLED) are also provided.

Red Shirt Imaging - Our Optoscan monochromator has been supported for several years. We have just started to use the system with our OptoLED illuminator and preliminary results look promising.

IonOptix - IonOptix are on the verge of launching the all new version of their fluorescence photometry, imaging and contractility system. As soon as this is available we will ensure that our hardware is fully supported. We currently intend to do a joint demonstration in June.

Indec - Imaging Workbench has been compatible with Cairn equipment for many years. Indec have recently developed new Optoscan drivers and also support the Optosplit image splitter and OptoLED light source.

Q Imaging - We have recently started distributing the excellent and keenly priced Q Imaging camera range. If purchasing your Q Imaging camera from Cairn we will include Q Capture Pro acquisition software at no extra charge.

Image Pro - Includes Optoscan and image splitter drivers.

Strathclyde Image - The brainchild of John Dempster at Strathclyde University, this fast, powerful and free software can be used in conjunction with our Optoscan monochromator for high speed image acquistion in conjunction with electrophysiology or other analogue data collection. We have just taken on a student from John's laboratory on a short term contract so watch this space for imminent further developments
