Signal outputs

In addition to the telegraphed outputs there are a number of signal outputs representing a variety of processing stages

Headstage signal

  1. The voltage or current output from the headstage, at x1 gain. This includes the pre-filter and effects of any leakage current compensation in voltage clamp mode.

  2. The same signal, after amplification by the gain stage.

  3. The output from the four or eight pole output filter (Final signal output).

  4. An additional output from the gain stage, filtered at 25KHz for general monitoring purposes.

Cell capacitance signal

Two capacitance outputs are available, the linear calibrated cell capacitance signal together with the imaginary component of the lock-in amplifier output.

Series resistance signal

Similarly to the cell capacitance output, there are two resistance outputs available. These are the linear calibrated series resistance and the real component of the lock-in amplifier output.
