Dual Emission Wavelength & Cell Edge Detection Systems


Recommended configuration for a dual emission output with simultaneous high speed cell edge detection

This configuration allows cell length to be tracked using th IonOptix CCD Video Camera whilst simultaneously carrying out single or dual emission fluorescence measurements. The diagram shows a typical arrangement for Indo-1 with 440 and 600nm long pass dichroic mirrors reflecting short wavelength light and transmitting red and infra-red light to the CCD camera. The dove prism and diaphragm on the input side of this set-up allow the cell image to be defined and rotated so as to align the cell image as desired on the camera chip.
