Single Excitation Wavelength Systems
Our recommended single excitation configuration.This option is considerably cheaper than the full excitation system, and is worth considering for dual emission or non-ratiometric dyes. The main drawbacks being that there is no provision in the optical coupling for fitting an electronic shutter (although a manual shutter is included), and that it cannot be easilly upgraded to accomodate a filter wheel at a later date.
